So here it is November and I have some catching up to do. August was a very important month for us and I need to make sure that I have it in our book. School starting and Silvers Birthday. Silver has been counting down till his birthday ever since he had his last birthday. And actually I have been excited too just because we knew what we were going to do. Sooo as a tribute to my cute little Silver, heres to you and your Big Number 7.
Silver my dear....I was so excited for you to come into this world because you were my very first. I knew that we were going to have to work together because Daddy was still attending the Police Academy when you were expected to come. I had almost a 24 hour labor with you, but when you were born I felt as the heavens opened up. As you started to cry, I cried too, I was so happy that you were here. When they handed you to me are eyes met and when I spoke to you you stopped crying. We bonded Silver and the love I had for you filled my soul.
Daddy got to come see you on the weekends because he was still in the Police Academy for another month. He so missed you during the week, and couldnt wait to put you in his arms. Daddys arms were magic, you always cuddled up in those big strong arms and fell asleep. You felt so safe in his arms, just like I always do.
Silver when you were born I became the Young Womens President. So you were loved and adored by many girls all the time. That actually has not changed. YOU are still a ladys man. I have been told by your Preschool teacher Miss Cathy and your Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Thibault even your First grade teacher Mrs. Andersen. People love you because you love people.
Son, you have always been a good kid, and a clean kid. You never liked to be messy and always cleaned up your toys when I asked you. Even when you were 2-3 years old. You had to put the toys exactly right. You had your own spot for them. It was amazing and I knew you were going to take after your mother for that. :)
Silver you are creative, imaginative, friendly, athletic, coordinated, smart...especially at Math. You are a good helper and a great big brother. I love to hear you sing, and love, love, love to watch you dance. You can really cut some rug. Your favorite thing to do when you were little was to dance to all the songs on Mary Poppins exactly the way they danced. You just followed along perfectly.
Your Dad and I love you so much and are so proud of you. We are excited to continue on with you on your adventure as you get older.
For Silvers Birthday we had Scales and Tails come and bring lots of fun reptiles and spiders. It was so amazing to watch. I think I had more fun watching all the kids expressions. Which of course I have to post as well.
Soo here is our great day.
