Catch up Again

Here I have done it again. Every time I update I promise myself that I wouldnt get so behind. I only punish myself because it is our family journal. So crap...here goes another trying commital statement. I will try and be better at updating. I am a little overwhelmed because 7 months have passed by. Sooo I think I will highlight my favorite of each month. January was fun because it was Mine and Mias Birthday. My little princess turned 5. I remember I thought I was going to have her on my birthday because I had so many contractions. I was hoping I wouldnt so she could have her own day to celebrate. Luckily I had her 2 days later. Pheww.
My little Mia is a bowl of sweet and spicy. She is nuturing, caring, thoughtful, sensitive, and often reserved. Her spicy side is topped with independent, all knowing, loves to be different, athletic, and sassy. What a perfect blend she is! She loves to go shopping, eat healthy salads, get her nails done, play battle with her brother, ride her scooter, take pictures any time she can with my camera and last has Daddy wrapped around her little finger. She is for sure Daddys little princess. We love you Mia and cant imagine our house without you.

This Birthday filled my heart with so many emotions. The day I had my first born is the day I realized how much my Mom loves me and sacrificed herself to have me. So ever since on my Birthday I think alot about my Mom and about being a Good Mom. I have many things to be grateful for and Yesterday was a perfect day to contemplate that.

I love being around people that bring me positivily the most joy in my life. It blesses me to have so many different groups of friends that I still get to see. Old friends that I have had for over 15 years, old college roomies, friends that I dearly love in my neighborhood, and ones that no matter how much time has passed between visits we are still the same. And of course Family, I love being with my Family. I was able to see all the above this past weekend. OHHHHH Iam so thankful. I love Birthdays for that very reason. And not just mine I mean ALL Birthdays. Thank you all for the love I received on B day, it was truely a BLISS day.

I am also soooo Grateful for a Husband that spoils me. I didnt want anything for my Birthday but a night out with my Hubby and a day with my Kids. Siliva did everything Sat. and Sun. I dont think I lifted much of a finger, maybe the pinki one a tad. I enjoyed every bit of it. For some reason I didnt get any pictures...weird for me.
So in order for me to get caught up and start
FRESH
I have updated from Jan-April
They are just my highlights!
My princess Mias Blessing Day

Mias big brown eyes always melted me

Mia taking a break to eat her doughnut while playing cards

Birthday doughnut tradition from Provo Bakery. She was so excited to wake up because she knew her big doughnut would be there.

She wanted to sleep in the playroom so we filled it with about 50 balloons while she was sleeping

What a fun surprise to wake up too

Jr. Jazz and Leprechauns

BASKETBALL................ it was sooo fun this year to have my son in Jr. Jazz. He has a great talent for this sport! Him and his buddy Ty were on the same team and they did awesome. His mom, who is my good friend Jessica, and I were very loud mothers screaming for them. I was sad to have the season end.

Yea! Silver.... I guess his Mom screamed too much "HANDS UP"

Teave, he is all smiles 24/7

ST. PATRICKS DAY WE HAD LEPRECHAUNS COME TO OUR HOUSE! They really made a mess while we were gone. They only thing that made up for it was the sweet little presents hidden in their rooms. All the TREASURES were green. Double mint gum, sprite, pringles in a green can, green squirt guns, flip flops, and frisbees. Sooo fun! Darn those pesky LEPRECHAUNS.

They left a trail of mints leading to the pesky mess!

Nice UNDERWEAR hanging from the fan!

Easter

Easter Time
The celebration of our resurrected Savior. Everything seems so fresh and new. What a perfect time to celebrate it in the Spring. The world renews itself through nature. Its beautiful and Perfect. Just as the Savior was and is. I am so thankful for the understanding of the Gospel in my Life. And for the desire to live a Christ like life.
