Oh how I loved October. The kids counted down the days towards Halloween for a couple months now. Which made me very excited as well. I was always looking foward to crisp weather, cozy fires, orange lights, Halloween candy, costumes, parties, and a girls trip to St.George. Thats right...a weekend in St. George with my old college roommates. My senior year we all clicked and remained long time friends. I was 5-7 years older than they were and they all called me Mama. I loved it. Soo the first time ever in 7 years we gathered together. It was the weekend before Halloween so that Saturday we went to Tuachan for Thriller. The dancing was amazing, super fun entertainment. It was hard to leave the baby but some real sleep was refreshing. Hands down to my wonderful husband who willing took on Mr. Mom for the weekend.

Halloween was perfect. Perfect costumes, perfect weather, Teave was perfect in the stroller, I finally got many perfect pictures of the kids trick-treating, perfect timing...my husband was able to go with us before going to work. Ohhhh how a mom is easy to please. Especially when I hear my kids say the whole time "mom, I love this...its so fun" over and over. Ohh October we loved you, see you next year.

Right before the show there was great looking zombies wondering everywhere

This one would have been great if the lady that took this didnt cut off the Zombies head in the picture.

My sweet Snow White and her Preschool teacher Ms. Cathy

I love Halloween class pictures, very classic.

Mia, Darren and Grace, our sweet friends that we carpool with.

Picture perfect Mia!!

We like to carve the pumpkins the night before Halloween.

Mia and Silver thinking this was the funniest thing ever.

They scooped for an hour, completly inthralled with the pumpkin guts!!

Right before we took our route

Yea...Teaves first Halloween

At one of our favorite neighbors...Silver and Rhett are great buddies

I love this picture because for 5 years now our neighbors have these amazing decorations for Halloween and every year Silver is afraid to go up to the door. Here I caught him eyeing Frankenstein as Daddy tried to show him there is nothing to be afraid of. Needless to say he DIDNT get candy for that house.

Frank and Dad

Another one of our favorite neighbor kids, Silver fit right in with their family theme.

This time this house had creepy music and it took Silver awhile to finally go up. He did but Mia had issues. Here they are trying to motion her up.

With a little help, she DID it.

This witch loves afro man!!

This poor bear was all tuckered out by the end of the night. But never made a sound. He was the perfect little cub.

Happy Sweet Fall is here and I love it. There is a smell that Fall has that gets you in such a festive spirit for the Holidays. It was so fun to harvest (I love saying harvest, it makes me feel like a farmer) the last of our garden before it was time to rip it out. Especially since we were able to grow our own pumpkins. FUN!!! Halloween is almost here and my little Silver can hardly wait. Every year he gets a little more brave to be around the scarey monsters and things. He tells me in the store the other day. "Mom look I am not scared of these skeletons...skeletons are my favorite people!" Haaaa.....Love it.
So just a little catch up.... here are the latest pictures of Teave. I keep forgetting to take pictures(I know wierd) because I am so into him that I soak up all the cutie moments for myself and forget to freeze it with a picture. Really need to be better at it. Next are pictures of our dear friends Jason and Karen on their wedding day. It was babys first road trip to St. George. We got to stay at my sister Tami's house for the night. My sister Jaimee came up from Vegas with her boys to visit as well. It was sooo FUN to just laugh with each other the whole time. Love my sisters!! I am so grateful for family and for the memories that will last our life time. Especially for the same stories that are retold every time just because they give us the good belly laugh. You know that laugh that makes her stomach hurt , eyes water and the smile that makes your face ache. Those kind of laughs are good for the soul.

Bumbo time...it was so cute, he just starred at his feet and wiggled his little toes.

My little Mama Mia!

Jason and Karen at the St.George Temple. You looked Radiant Karen!!

I love this picture of my husband. Soooo handsome.

Tami...dont kill me but I have to post this because I laughed so hard and we can call this a belly laugh moment. At the Temple we are all gathering taking a picture with the bride and groom. A BIG group picture. My sister happen to notice that her son Stevie had taken all his clothes off and was just laughing at everyone and thinking it was sooo funny. Of course we had to take a picture of her frustrating dilema...because see only things like this happen to my sister. Love you Tami!!!

My sweet sisters.

The cousins.....they always have so much fun when they are together.

My cute kids.

Ohhh out of the mouths of Babes!

Iam not very good at remembering the sweet and funny comments that come out of my kids. But today I have to log three funny comments.

Me: Silver, dinner is almost ready....
Silver: What are we having?
Me: Steak and veggies...
Silver: Ohhh, thats my favorite chicken!

Mia just got this cute Strawberry Shortcake CD player from her cousin Alex. She could hardly wait to put her Princess music on and do a show for me. Very gracefully she is leaping across the floor when she says.....
Mia: Mom I am a princess huh...
Me: Yes of you are Mia.
Mia: Silver when you turn 7, you will be a prince!

Me: Silver you guys finish your dinner and I am going to put the baby down.
Silver: No mom...you will be two hours because you have to rock him and feed him on both sides!

WOW, time flies when you are just nursing and sleeping while nursing all day everyday. I cant believe a whole month has passed by again before I was able to post. Well two great things happened to my dear little Silver. He had a birthday and turned the big 6. I think back to when I found out I was pregnant with him. I had only been married for 2 weeks when I got pregnant. I thought how are we going to do this. We had nothing and no health insurance and Silver still needed to enter the Police Academy. A friend told me that no matter what that the Lord would take care of us. Sure enough he was right. Even when we had to spend it alone just little Silver and I. My husband entered into the Police Academy when I was 7 months pregnant. He had to be gone all week and only home on the weekends for 20 weeks. So when Silver was born he still had 2 months left. So we had to handle everything on our own till he was done. I know I was watched over. I am so glad that I get to have my little Silver in our lives. He has always watched out for me. A very protective little guy. Especially now with the new baby, Silver is a huge help. He is thoughtful, lovable, sensitive, tough, smart, athletic and handsome. Definitely took after my husband's good looks.
The next best thing to turning 6 was getting to go to school. WoW, I couldnt wait for that either. He actually has 5 friends in his class that were in Preschool with him. That makes it even extra fun for him. School has only been going for almost a month and I already feel like he has changed. A little more mature and responsible for making sure things get done. I love you Silver this was all about you.
First Day of School!!!

Very proud ma and pa

My little Mia was so excited for Silver

Sophie and Silver waiting for the bus. She is our neighbor and they both have been doing preschool together for 2 years and now they get to go to the REAL school together.

My little man has been waiting a long time for this moment. Since he was 2 years old he has been wanting to be one of the big kids.
THE BIG BIRTHDAY BASH!!!
He has been counting down the days since his 5th birthday because he was sick and didnt get to party. Sooo we made sure he had a good day.

I dont know how we didnt get a big group picture. Everybody was everywhere the whole time. This was the best group picture we took.

Neighborhood Posse. I thought this picture was great. They were gathered together like they were 15 yr. just chillin. And it was interesting because boys and girls were already in their seperate groups.

This picture killed me. Boys will be boys. You would not have found the girls doing this.

These 3 are the musketeers. Love it.

And can I say Thank You Kiana because her brother was coming to the party and she called me and asked if I needed help. YES, I said. She was for sure my right hand girl.
This was the Birthday Day!!!!

He chose bowling as his activity and a little air hockey after.

This was actually the Birthday Morning Welcome. Which he loved because he was sooo hoping for a Wii. Yea!!!!!
