"What the........"

So "What the....." is my sons favorite saying now. And that .... doesnt mean something scarey, he just stops at the... phhhewww. But for the start of my entry "What the..." seems very appropriate. WOW, have I let my little journal slide. I couldnt or maybe dont even WANT to try and recap what has happened since the last time I posted. Not because anything really dramatic happened, it just stresses me out thinking about it. Soooooo Iam starting from today.

Today was a good day for a new beginning. I finally joined 24 hour fitness and as I ran on the treadmill, ok, walked at first. A million things were going through my head. Most importantly how I let myself go. I love working out!! When I was in the 6th grade I used to make my sisters get in leotards with me and we would work out to Flash beagle (Charlie Brown workout). Then Jr. high through High School it would be walking, Kathy Smith, and Jane Fonda tapes. My sisters would know that if we were all watching TV I would be the annoying sister who would be doing situps, leg lifts and stretches. I just was always creating my own workout. Then when I graduated from High School I got a membership at a Gym. Even when I went to College I either went to the Fitness Center or the School Pool. Which of course my passion of excercise is why I went with my Major in PE with a minor in Health. I was ecstatic when Golds Gym came to Cedar. Yea!!! I was also able to work a part time job at the schools fitness center while in school which led me to my husband as well. And then yea, he loved to work out as well. While dating we did it together. I swore I would never let myself go. Seven years of marriage and 3 babies later I am saying "WHAT THE..." It happened....who was this woman on the treadmill 50lbs heavier. I was that girl, who was running next to me, who felt on top of this world as she glided on the treadmill. Now I am praying I can keep up and dont fall off the end of the belt.

But this is the positive part. As I am working out those incredible natural endorphins kicked in and said "You CAN DO it". I CAN and HAVE to get myself back. Not just because I want to fit back into all my clothes but for my peace of mind. I dont know this body...it doesnt move right. Which leads to I HAVE to eat better, SLEEP earlier, EXCERCISE more! Which ALSO leads to being a BETTER wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and neighbor. When you feel good you think less of yourself and more about other people. There is so much more that happens to your mind and body when you take care of yourself than just the changing of the scale.

Man I forgot how therapuetic it is to write out everything you feel. Iam so excited to start fresh. And I am doing it through my working out and writing. Which in turn it is going to help me recap on my days with my beautiful family. Speaking of beautiful family I went through looking at pictures and posted some of my favorites from the past few months.

My sweet sister who is always willing to come and take care of the kids.

I was so impressed with Silver. He built this airplane out of these tiny pieces and an instruction manual. With no help!!

I love this picture. Silver wanted to dress up and be a spy, so Mia decides she needs some things as well to go outside with. Random and cute!

Obviously being a SPY. For what I am not sure.

I caught Mia making and indulging to the very last drop of her frosting. Her Auntie Jaimees favorite treat.

My sweet Teaves first Easter. He loved the eggs.

Silver always making us laugh.

They got these bubbles in their basket. Mia thought they were the greatest thing ever. I wish I had the laughter with these pictures.

All dressed in their Sunday Easter best.

My GQ man wanted us to take many different poses while he posed himself!! Yes, he told us when to take the picture. These are only a few of them. Love it!

My sister Jaimee came up for Spring Break. She teaches Kindergarten in Vegas and got to be the guest along with Tristin. Silver thought it was so fun to have his cousin in class with him.

Mias first Soccer season!

So proud of Mia! Just like a girl to be more prepared than the boys. Keep it up Mia.

Lucky Me!

My favorite gal! Love you Crissy!

He loves to box and takes after his Dad and his Grandpa he never got to meet would be so proud. His Grandpa from Hawaii was a boxer back in the days.

The sunshine rays of my life.

Teave is always smiling! Really ALWAYS!

This is what happens when a bored kid in the winter gets a thing of tape.

Hangin out at Grandmas house.
