I think I have finally gone crazy. I seem to want nothing but liquids and cereal. Slurpee's, soda, ice water(the crushed ice so you can chew it), shakes and whatever cereal we have. Another thing that I love are weird smells. Tires at Sams Club or Walmart, the air conditioning in my car, anything in Home Depot, the rubber from our new garbage disposal under the sink. I love when I have to get something under there. The smell of wood, and last and very weird the smell of the air from my vacuum. This is all odd and very amusing for my husband.
I just cant wait till this loved one is here. I know I have complained alot....I dont enjoy pregnancy, but I sure love what I get out of it. Really I cant wait to show my kids that this little baby in my tummy that we always talk about is REAL. That he is going to come out...and that they do have a brother. Its all stories until mommy brings home this bundle of joy.
Sooo to pass these last few days I thought I would update again what goes on at the Browns.

Mia wanted to draw a picture of the family including our long awaited little boy. Somebody on top got a little erased, she wasnt happy about that. But I had to post it anyway.

The best way for me to spend time with the kids but still do nothing is entertain by WATER. The pool, sprinklers, squirt guns you name it. They have so much fun and and I get to just sit there and watch them. Love it. After I have this baby I will be running in the sprinkers with them I will be so excited.

The kids had a campout with Dad in the backyard. They loved it. We had some Cocoa Rice by candlelight before they turned in.

Believe it or not even though the day was very hot, Big Silver came in to come get another blanket. He actually said it was chilly. That never happens....he is getting soft on me.
Now...the long awaited feature from my husband. I know in some pictures it has already showed a little part of our deck, but I need to put the before and after. Not to mention the fact that Silver built it himself. He has never built anything before!! He looked at a 1-2-3 Deck book from Home Depot, created a few designs and went for it. May I also brag a little more and say that he built it in 6 days!!!! He amazes me everyday, there is nothing this man cannot do. In my eyes anyway.

Here has the frame built and screwed into the house. Our friend Jeff was so kind as to help with the framing.

The floor is coming along nicely.

And WAALLAAAA! He himself is so proud.

Fathers Day
So it takes me a few days before I get to post the blessed event of Fathers Day. The opportunity to celebrate and honor our Dads. We were able to have my parents over for a BBQ, and make the perfect steaks. I am thankful for my Dad and the memories and lessons he has given me over the years. Independence and decision making stick out the most. And the greatest quote that he has embeded in all of us girls is....."A rose is still a rose even though it has a little dirt on it." I love you Dad.
I am also dearly thankful for my husband and the father that he is. After we had our son I went back to work part time for the next 4 years. So Silver had the chance to take care of little Silver and eventually our daughter Mia while I was at work. It wasnt the easiest since he was working graveyards and sometimes had no sleep. Not many fathers get the chance to be a Mr. Mom in the day. It created a bond with the kids and a great understanding of what mothers go through as well. What an amazing man he is!!!
